About Us

The Anchorage Mayor’s Charity Ball annually raises funds to support local 501(c)3 charitable organizations during a gala evening hosted by the Mayor. Eligible organizations apply each year and four groups are selected:

Two from Health & Human Services applicants
One from Arts applicants
One from All Other applicants

Charities are randomly selected to benefit from the gala event’s proceeds.

Our 2016 Charity recipients are:
Anchorage International Film Festival
Beacon Hill
Chugiak Youth Sports Association
Challenge Alaska
